Charming little house in a great location! This little house is clean as a whistle, freshly updated, and tastefully detailed. The owners have used the space wisely to make it flow well with privacy in the bedrooms and open plan in the common spaces. The clever Ninja coffeemaker will allow you to make one cup or a whole pot and will even heat water for your tea.
While there is no dishwasher, they have not stinted on a sturdy and well functioning draining board and dishrack so you can wash everything up and they will be dry and ready to use again with hours.
The outside has a neat front lawn and a fenced backyard offering gathering space with friends and a bonus firepit. The private drive and carport keep your vehicle under cover of the elements and the trash and recycling bins handy and easy to access.
An easy walk along the wide sidewalks takes you right to downtown in no time with access to the many of the wonderful array of restaurants (sooo many in this charming town) as well as the tavern/pubs and the wine bar, the independent shops with everything from outdoor gear to books, to new and consignment clothing. SoPines is a great little town and this house gives you access to all its charms.

We’ve visited Southern Pines a handful of times. May Street Retreat by far has been our favorite. Its such a charming house and close to everything. We walked to most places. The owner invested in the decor, amenities and comfort/essentials. Even the neighbors were great! We will definite request to stay again. Thank you Ashley for your hospitality!

This is a jewel of a place! The kitchen and bathrooms are top quality, and the whole place is elegant. There are many thoughtful touches and it is tastefully and comfortably furnished. Everything is user-friendly. The location can’t be beat. We highly recommend it!

Wonderful cottage downtown SOP. Excellent location for staying in town. If you are staying in Southern Pines it is an excellent location. We enjoyed seeing all the new stores and activity in the area. We especially enjoyed picking up some Specialty Items for Christmas Gifts at the Purple Thistle, located downtown Pinehurst. We enjoyed a Fabulous Portabello square red pizza from Vito’s in 5. Defiantly just as good as we remembered! House is extremely clean, and updated. It’s a great place a family or singles to stay.

This house is absolutely perfect. Walking distance to all the downtown shops and restaurants also 2 blocks from the town playground. We were here for the US Kids world championships and it’s within 7-10 min from main Pinehurst facility as well as surrounding courses. Great value and freshly updated. Ashley was very quick to respond and very accommodating. Highly recommend this home for a week stay or golf outing.

Ashley is the best property manager I could possibly ask for. She started managing my properties as soon as I deployed and immediately handled new tenants moving in, old tenants moving out, and all repairs that were necessary. I had no worries with her and could fully trust her decisions. Even with that trust, she would always consult with me before making final decisions to ensure I was good with it. I have zero stress and worries with her managing my properties and me being out of the country.
