After serving many years in the Army, I am currently retired and pursuing my dreams of restoring historic properties. I worked at Fort Bragg for the last 7 years and after a few deployments decided to start investing in real estate. I learned very quickly how without the right people to manage your properties while you are gone they can become a costly headache.
Once I had my first rental property though, I was hooked! I have seen every episode of Fixer Upper and Rehab Addict Rescue and decided I wanted to try to take on my own project. Through many lessons learned, I am now working on restoring my fourth home and love every minute of it. I realized my passion lies in restoring old and historical homes to their former glory, and I seek out historical homes to renovate and revitalize.
I lived for many years in downtown Southern Pines and loved being able to walk around the quiet quaint town. Earlier this year I moved up to Sanford into the historical district to start reinvigorating the neighborhood there.
I love helping people and my favorite part about running May Street Retreats LLC is proving amazing spaces for our tenants, and helping to ease the stress of deploying and leaving a home behind. When I’m not managing some projects or taking care of the homes we manage I work as a paramedic on an ambulance.
Whether you want to talk about investment strategies or how to remodel a room in your home I always love to chat!
